The Cove Creek Club has an active homeowner’s association.
Many of Cove Creek Club’s residents become involved in a variety of different activities and community groups that help make our neighborhood so unique and special. You may find yourself noting bird species with The Cove Creek Conservation and Wildlife Foundation or cruising with The Cove Creek Yacht Club to Tilghman Island for Sunday Brunch. A yearly calendar is issued to all members during the winter listing next year’s activities and events. It is all on our website www.covecreekclub.com .
Our office personnel are available to answer any questions you may have. Business hours are currently Tuesday through Friday 8:30 am- 4:00 pm, Saturdays & Sundays 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (Sundays we are open April - December).
The homeowner’s association has a five member Board of Directors elected by the Membership for terms of three years. The Standing Committees of the Board are: Audit, Budget & Finance, Nominating, Election, and Long Range Planning. The other committees of the Board include Government Liaison, Architectural Control, Greens, Landscaping, Maintenance, Marina, Pro Shop, Roads, Security, and Entertainment.
The Architectural Control Committee has developed and administers a comprehensive written policy which can be found in the linked HOA documents.
The Cove Creek Club operates with dues and fees assessed to the members. Member charges are invoiced monthly and payments are due immediately. The current dues are $5260 per year. Also imposed is a capital contribution of 1.5 times the annual assessment in effect on the date of settlement which is due and payable to the Cove Creek Club and is collected at settlement. The current annual golf fee is $60 per household. The current minimum slip fees range from $800 to $1500 depending on boat size. Cove Creek's HOA is managed through an elected
board of directors and committees staffed by resident volunteers
along with a staffed office in the CC Clubhouse.
